Its time once again to Fight the Frump with Fussy. (Love ya fuss!)
As I am sure y'all know the calendar says that it is officially 'Spring' that season between the drab dreary winter, and the bright dreary summer.
In an effort to ditch my 'mommy bag'(aka the diaper bag), and consolidate my purse, I recently upgraded to a new purse.
I had a couple criteria that had to be met in order for the new winner to replace this:
I wanted something that was roomy enough for all my stuff, plus a couple pull-ups and a cup.
It had to be a dark color to hide the dirt(I live on a farm)
It had to have long strap(s) that I could easily sling over my shoulder.
It had to have a 'safe' place for my wallet.
I spent several days looking while I was paint shopping(did I mention the toddler got a hawt new room?). At first I couldn't find anything that jumped off the shelf and said 'BUY ME! I'm your new purse!'
Then, in a moment of pure serendipity, I laid my eyes upon it. THE perfect purse.
It is roomy enough for a couple pull ups a travel package of wipes, and a sippy cup. It has a secure pocket for my wallet, and all my junk, it even has a pocket that at the moment is 'extra' though I am sure I will figure out something for it.
I have a pocket for my cell phone(that it doesn't use), and my keys. There's a pocket I can use for my camera. It has goregeous long handles that sling over my shoulder/neck. The only thing I would change? They aren't adjustable.
The color is nice, playful, and fun. I love the denim as it hides all the dirt(trust me I know it SOUNDS frumpy but around here nothing survives.)

Can't wait to see pics of your dream purse! I love purses, but I hardly ever buy myself any. The last 3 I've gotten were from other people! (My Mom, my hubby, and my sis!) Awesome Frump Fighting post! Much love & God Bless
Happy shopping! I was never a big purse shopper but have been having way too much fun looking since being out of work. Don't you hate it - you have more time to shop and no money to shop with. Why does it have to work that way? I love the Vera Bradley for fun and light but they do get dirty and worn looking easy.
Dude. I need a picture!!!! :)
I've gotta get a new purse, and I hear you about the shoulder strap being just right. I've turned away many a good purse for that reason LOL! :)
I love purses, I have to stop myself from buying to many. :)
Maybe it's best that you didn't post the picture of the perfect purse yet, because I'm sure I would have to have it! :) I'm looking for a good replacement for the diaper bag, as well!
I did my post on handbags last week. Gotta love a new handbag. Cute post.
Have a good weekend.
Congrats on the new purse! I've just pulled an oldie out of the closet from my office days.
Isn't it funny that a small change can make such a big difference? Great job on the purse update!
